The seminar was attended by leading experts of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine, the State Property Fund, the Guarantee Fund for Individuals' Deposits, the University of Banking, the Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Public Organization "All-Ukrainian Association of Experts Ratings", representatives of leading banks, well-known experts with considerable experience in carrying out works in this direction.
Recall that the scientific and practical seminar on "International and domestic requirements for the provision of credit obligations and their practical implementation collateral valuation and monitoring" was held July 11, 2019, at the premises of the University of Banking Affairs. The event was organized by the University of Banking in conjunction with the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Fund for the Guaranteeing of Individuals' Deposits and the Pan-Ukrainian Association of Valuation Specialists supported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the seminar, questions were considered about the purpose, content, procedure of work and reporting on the fulfillment by banks of modern requirements for assessment and reduction of the level of credit risks with a special emphasis on the provision of credit obligations, as well as the future prospects for the development of these works in the light of existing European practice. Considerable attention was paid to the practical aspects and experience of implementing these requirements in the system-making banks. In general, the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with modern international and national experience on the above-mentioned issues.
